Most people call me “Miss Sally”, but my name is Sally Davis and I have been the Church

Organist and Accompanist here at First Methodist Church Mt. Holly for over 30 years.

I grew up in Gaston County, NC where I live with my husband, Phil, and in December of 2022,

we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Phil and I met in the 70s while performing in a top

40 rock and roll band, and we have been together ever since. We are the proud parents of one

daughter, Cara Davis Woodruff who lives in Pittsboro, NC with her husband, Mark.

For the last 14 years, I have been working for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in

Charlotte, NC as the Manager, Licensing and Research in the Video Ministry Services

Department. Prior to that, I was employed for 39 years in the Advertising Department at Gaston

County Dyeing Machine Company.
